Be on time, be prepared, put in your best effort, and keep yourself together. That’s how you will receive a wristband to Rammaroo. Rammaroo is a celebration of all the hard work students have accomplished through the tough TCAP testing. Rammaroo will be held at the conclusion of TCAP testing at RMS on the afternoon of Friday, April 28. As in the past, Rammaroo, inspired by the outdoor concert festival Bonnaroo, will feature many surprise “celebrities” and live bands on the main stage as well as free refreshments for students and prize giveaways.

Mrs. Mardee Miller is the creator of Rammaroo; she comes up with all the ideas and sets up all the decorations. This is Robertsville’s 3rd year of Rammaroo, and the 8th graders this year have been to each one. Rammaroo is a great time to get rid of the stress from testing and to jam out to music with your friends. If you do not follow the rules of Rammaroo, then you do not receive a wristband, which means no Rammaroo for you!

The main things that help you get to Rammaroo are “preparing yourself, going for the goal, respecting the test, and radiating positivity” said Miller. If you do not do the previous things, you will not be able to go to Rammaroo, and you will be sitting all alone.

This year’s Rammaroo has many new features such as karaoke! Each grade level gets to do karaoke in the auditorium in the days leading up to the big event.

Rammaroo is great experience, and you won’t want to miss it!
